2010 U. S. Census

Census Day
April 1, 2010

As required by the U. S. Constitution, the U. S. Census Bureau conducts a census of our population every 10 years. The results help determine our representation in government, as well as how federal funds are spent in our community on roads, parks, housing, schools, and public safety.

In 2008 Township staff compiled a list of all Concord Township addresses to faciliate the Census Bureau's task.

Questionnaires were mailed to households in March. Hopefully, you completed and returned the form in a timely manner. If not, census workers will be visiting your residence. The 2010 Census questionnaire asks only a few simple questions of each person - name, relationship, gender, age and date of birth, race, and whether the respondent owns or rents his or her home. All information is strictly confidential.
